I suspected thus.  Doesn't change the fact that you're wrong.

I don't see any evidence that he was a pro-wrestler.

He will probably be played as someone who is wise and has a sense of humor and is saddened by Thor's hubris all at the same time. Expect him to be little more than a sad yet noble and compassionate voice judging Thor to become human to pay for his arrogance. Probably won't be a long role. Comparable to Jor El in the Superman movie.

Exactly.  I'm not sure why Odin needs to be some massive guy.  Or why he has to have action roles.  All we need is some old guy sitting in a chair who can act and we have Odin.

Were you expecting it to be listed in his IMDB filmography?  I'm pretty sure his wrestling career predated the televised pro wrestling era since it was before his acting career and his acting career began in the early fifties.

I know he was a pro wrestler because I read that in a bio about him years ago.  You can choose to believe it or not.  Makes no difference to me.  Or you can research it yourself.

Are you talking about Hopkins' time as a luchadore?  When he wrestled for 3 years as Enfuego?  I don't there are many pictures but you can probably find something if you dig around.

No, I base it on having never heard that he was a pro-wrestler before and subsequently googling it and finding nothing that says anything about him being involved in wrestling.

The closest thing that comes up is that wrestler Big John Studd used to wrestler under the name Chuck O'Connor.
